what if the ufos aren't coming from space, but from the ocean?
we don't really know what the fuck is down there even now and it seems a little more plausible that there's something going on there than way outside that would need ftl propulsion to get here.
i have exactly zero evidence for any of this lol
And, so, as a reminder, if you are expected to take care of someone or especially a bunch of someone, don't forget to take time to rest. If you don't, your ability to help them will only go downhill. As they say, put your own oxygen mask on first.
Anywho, end thread.
Genshin Impact
Like, Jean, fuck's sake. How do you expect to fight for your people if you don't keep yourself in fighting shape?! Take a fucking break, Jean!
Genshin Impact
I finally got to play the quest, and, well, if I had a nickel for every time I've started going on a rant at no one about how you have to take care of yourself before you can hope to care for anyone else that was prompted by this game, I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.
The initial list brought to you by "I was about to start Jean's story quest in Genshin Impact when my internet went out, and I'm pretty upset about it"
Family stuffs
And, just to be clear, I do love my mother. I'm lucky to have a mother like her. But she can be a bit much sometimes and I just, like, need her to back off. But, she's pretty good about not constantly being up in my business. Thus, that went on the good list with an emoji to indicate cheekiness. Love ya, mom!
(Not that she'll ever see this.)
Things I look forward to about moving out next month (this is a happy list)
Not having mom occasionally burst in to show me random facebook stuffs
Being in the city I like
Being closer to my uni
Being closer to my uni's activity center
Being on my own (a godsend for my energy levels)
Faster internet
Things I look forward to about moving out next month (this isn't a happy list)
Not finding scorpions and massive spiders around the place
Internet that doesn't drop out at least once a month
UTA actually takes care of their apartments, unlike mom's landlord
Not having to live in this shitty hellhole of a town
Also, yeah, this isn't the game theory blog post I promised. I'm stuck on mixed strategy Nash equilibria when more than 3 strategies exist. I'll get it out eventually, though. Promise.
New blog post, yada yada. It's a follow up to the last one. Etc, etc. Here's the link:

hey. y'all. if you can get 'em, no shame in doing ssris. they do wonders for depression and anxiety. life is looking like it's actually kinda worth living now as opposed to a slog i'm obligated to live for other people's sake.
you usually don't become a robot on them, and if you do then something is very wrong.
but i am also not a doctor, you should go talk to someone who actually is about this stuff.

i fucking love positive feedback loops
> The world faces an onslaught of coastal flooding starting in the mid-2030s due to a "wobble" in the moon's orbit, Nasa has warned.
> Nasa said: "What’s new is how one of the wobble’s effects on the moon’s gravitational pull – the main cause of Earth’s tides – will combine with rising sea levels resulting from the planet’s warming."

So yeah, play on whatever difficulty makes you happy. Turn on cheat codes if you want. Play Psychonauts 2 with the invincibility mode on, as long as you're enjoying yourself.
Just don't belittle those who don't play on the same level as you.
