Ostensibly gendered insults for use with sex demons

Are these original? Probably not.
Did I come up with myself? Yep!
Am I proud of them? Yeah, probably disappointingly so.

I'm not like other girls

Other girls: make absolutely amazing electronics projects

Me: makes this monstrosity

I'd also like to remind you of this thing I made a few months ago

Other girls' bathrooms: Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, maybe makeup

My bathroom: Circuit boards, soldering equipment, anti-static wristbands, personal protective equipment

dreams

Honestly, I find it hard to buy into the whole "dreams are messages"/"dreams have meanings" bullshit. I have way too many dreams and my dreams are way too surreal to have any sort of deeper meaning. I mean come on, last night I dreamt I knocked out Canelo halfway through the fight, then proceeded to continue fighting him and used a bicycle to stop him from getting to me and knocking me out in the last round in order to fight him to a draw. What the hell kinda message or meaning is that?!?!

dreams, lewd ment, subtoot, shitpost?

"Dreams are messages!"

Yeah, I'm sure they are. So, uh, you wanna interpret the message I received last night, when I dreamed I was fighting Canelo Alvarez? Because I'd sure like to know what the hell that whole thing was about.

What about that dream I had a few years ago where I got fucked by my best friend in a china shop?

Also, what about the fact I have dreams almost every night? That sure is a lot of messages to be receiving. How much of that is spam?

update: things seem to be getting resolved. we're actually talking about this and i'm apologizing for causing them anxiety. this is good. we can handle this.

oh, how i love my brain. someone posted a horrifying bit of hentai in a discord server i'm in, and i responded, letting them know how horrified i was, largely but not completely joking. they apologized and deleted it. now i feel bad. thanks, brain. worse yet, i don't know how to respond. i didn't intend for them to take it down, so "thanks" doesn't feel right, but i also don't feel like explaining this is a good response. uuuuuggggghhhh anxiety.

So, a while back, I drew some transition goals for myself. I'm pleased to report decent process, even without having yet started HRT

Did someone say something about you that's pissing you off? Don't just get angry! Stop, take a deep breath, calm yourself down before you reach full-on anger mode, then re-read what they said, taking particular care not to take it personally just yet. It's possible you've misunderstood what they said, and there might be a much better way of responding than to get angry. It's possible that it is personal and they're saying what you thought they said, but don't just assume! Respond, don't react.

Disappointingly hot leftism take

@auravulpes it's like a bandage, it ain't gonna fix the massive hole in your torso, but it's a good idea to put one on and try to stop much more damage from happening

Disappointingly hot leftism take

Voting won't win any lasting structural changes, but it is the difference between life and death for anyone who isn't a straight, white, wealthy cis male. It's not meaningful in the long-term, but it is harm reduction and stops many of your potential allies from being killed.

I wish people could stop conflating having trouble articulating your thoughts with no knowing things. I know what I'm talking about, I just don't know how to get you to know about it!

Re: last boost

okay, maybe not *every* community. but geez, google's control of the internet is scary. I mean, between them and amazon...

boy it sure is great that every single community i'm a part of now has a single point of failure at google

Tired: "men are too emotional to be leaders." *replicates the sexist assumption that unemotionality is always a superior trait and is inherently associated with dominance/authority.*

Wired: "Men aren't emotional enough to be leaders." *Hot take. Asserts the value of traits devalued by patriarchy. Radically re-envisions what leadership ought to look like. Doesn't throw men who experience positive emotions intensely under the bus for being insufficiently "in-control" (read: masculine).*
