old notes

In one note, I realized that Hydrotennessic acid could be a thing (assuming you could get Tennessine to stay around long enough to form it). I also noted the same for Hydroastatic acid, aka HAt.

I also, on this day, asked my chem professor if hydroastatic acid would be weak or strong. According to him, we don't know because astatine is so unstable, but it's probably a strong acid. So, there's a fun chemistry fact for ya!

old notes, with some maybe lewd

A fun quote:
"Trees are free money (if you ignore the £100,000 pounds [sic] you're gonna spend on seeds)."
Not quite sure of the context. NerdCubed stream, maybe? The Spiffing Brit? Not sure.

Also:
"Mountain Dew VOLTAGE. Grr! Gamer! Rah!"

And:
"Feeling: Horny. Again. Gods, I need a boyfriend."
What is my gods damned sexuality?! Am I ace or not?! This suggests no.

old notes

Okay, I'll be nice, thread them and keep them under this CW. Two other things from this note:
1) I get confused about my spell checker recognizing "chem" "SIGSEGV" and "segfault" but not "kitsune". I also wonder what a Vulpecula is, as that was suggested for Vulpes.
2) I then learned that Vulpecula is a faint constellation in the northern sky whose name is Latin for "little fox".

Okay, you know what, I'm just gonna keep sharing stuff from these old notes. I have a remark about wonder if it's possible for a human to segfault, then correct myself to kitsune and ask if it's possible for a kitsune to segfault. So, clearly, the kitsunekin thoughts aren't the newest things.

I then go on to wonder if maybe I'm just a robot, with the remark "maybe everyone else was right."

Also, as a fun Aura fact, in this note I remark that I don't know whether the missing chunk from the right ear and the notch in the left ear were gonna be a permanent thing or just a thing from some images I'd drawn of 'em with regards to my depression. A year and a half (give or take) later, and I think we have our answer: Aura just has a notch in her left ear and a torn-off right ear. So, yes. Fun facts for you.

Okay, fun Aura fact of the day: Going through old notes of the day, I have found the *exact* date I went from vague idea of enderfox to Aura as my fursona: 11 February 2019.
"In other news, my fursona's name is now Aura Vulpes. He's [sic] also bluer than he was before."
So, I guess Aura's birthday is officially 11 Feb. Woo!

re: no context, food (and the other ones)

One final thing in that note: a remark about how "subzero temperatures are cold, especially if the wind is 9 kt from around 10°." Yeah. 4.5 m/s windows from the north are pretty cold when it's below 0°C out.

From the same note:

"In the name of the Holy Trinity of the Top Slice, Bologna, and the Bottom Slice, we pray. Amen."

slur, re: no context, a bit lewd

Fun fact: I used to refer to myself as an "actual furfag." In fact, here's an image of my fursona before I got Aura:

(I still kinda want that shirt.)

no context, a bit lewd, slur

From an old daily note:
"Scientific-grade furfag."
"What on earth is a 'scientific-grade furfag'?!"
"One that's suitable for experimentation."

Lewd, re: No context

Yes, this goes for jacking off and fingering too.

"So with bass playing, as it is with everything else: keep a straight wrist."

So, yeah. Not really a point to all this, and I didn't really mean to go on so long. This was supposed to be a joke about infinite scrolling and it turned into a thread. Maybe I should uninstall Tusky or put a time limit on it, but eh. Whatever.

Show thread

This is especially bad when I wake up. Up til recently, I'd grab my tablet, which runs Android 4.4 and thus can't run Tusky. So, I'd scroll through using the web UI then stop when it got too laggy. Now I grab my phone, which can run Tusky, and so I lay there for an hour just scrolling the federated timeline (not to mention everything else I check).

Show thread

You know, the thing I least like about Tusky compared to the web UI is that it doesn't get super laggy as I scroll the federated timeline. Now, you may be thinking, "But Aura, that sounds like it's better! How is that bad?" Well, I'll tell you. On the web UI, the lagginess gives me a good stopping point. When it gets too laggy, close the tab and move on. On Tusky, I can keep going and going. Thus, I do. And, thus, I waste more time there. Ergo, it's worse.

Food, question

And, hey, if you know of a way to make something kinda like a bigger pizza roll but with a soft, kinda doughy crust, let me know!
