we used the corpses of dinosaurs to teach rocks how to do math and for some reason we decided the best way to utilize this is to make a global network of thinking rocks that make people sad

• accusing someone else of being what they are in order to muddy the waters
• claiming that because something isn't perfect it should be entirely destroyed
• actively working to sabotage that thing that they're saying doesn't work perfectly
• trying to change the discussion to where exactly the line is drawn rather than which people are on the wrong side of the line
• blaming someone else for causing a problem that they themself created
• "we're not all irredeemably bad people" when accused of being or working with an irredeemably bad person
• just straight-up lying about what words mean and claiming things as fact that are exactly the opposite of easily-verifiable facts
