Every once in a while, I get new reviews for company that ran the worst tech interviews I've ever experienced.

like, I can go on for a long time. But I guess my point is:

Not only are you not immune to propaganda, you're already infected. So is everyone you know and respect.

When you're confronted with new information, or information that sounds counterintuitive or goes against what you think you know about the world, it's worth taking a step back and not rejecting it out-of-hand. Check your work, as always- lord knows that there's a lot of bad information out there- but be open to the idea that you've been propagandized.

I've been writing professionally off and on for 10 years, been on this job for 3 months, and I still feel brand new even though in a startup I'd be practically team lead.
