Additionally, FUCK THAT BULLSHIT. I can't be angry because someone had to pick a profession and it accidentally involves cops. But "won't apologize for what I do for a living" is disgusting. In this case, this org asks participants to *use that wording* in any presentations they give. It's their branding.

Which... is pretty creepy in itself. I'm betting most of the infosec people just thought it's like their Dad trying to be cool, roll their eyes, and use the wording. But then, infosec is largely cis straight white dudes.
