@Wewereseeds@organizing.social I however don't mean this being too much of the case on Mastodon, as the community is still small, fewer liberals and people seems a bit more aware about this. However there are dangerous sprouts of this toxic ideology here and there that we should definitely not ignore.

@Wewereseeds@organizing.social Exactly, and these clouts will even be feed into more hostile mechanisms of social spheres. As I said, clout chasing is just as addicting as pursuing monetary capital. People can and will resort to anything if it means maximizing profit.

@Wewereseeds@organizing.social And I agree that's good practice. Dealing with social capital is different from monetary capital and honestly I haven't found a clear solution to it, only seen its consequences. But doing what you can to even out the odds is helpful.
