@GreenandBlack I would say that the horrid nature of cops stretch further than that. Even in places where they supposingly originates from "liberation army against invaders and colonists" what you see is still almost the mirror image of the cops you've just described. The problem isn't their origin. The problem is exactly what they are in nature: apparatus of the state to maintain the status quo.

Capitalism and the state goes hand-in-hand. The State can not actuate its political influence without private industries and capitalists can not protect their capital without a form of state-enforced violence.
Most of the places where it's called "socialist country" in the world right now is nothing but stages for state capitalists, a grand masquerade for state capitalists who call themselves communists to convince people that there's a thing called "state communism" ,and state capitalists who call themselves liberators to sell the idea of "free capitalism" and evoke red scare sentiment.
