...when I'm playing a current era pokemon game, there's all this (imaginary) pressure to have the BEST team with the BEST IVs/EVs and such

but looking back, even on the generations I didn't get to finish due to anxiety or life, there's still nostalgia surrounding those games

when did I get so obsessed with what other gamers think about my pokemon to the point I didn't want to play anymore?

I can take my time catching and training my pokemon the way I want to....
