1st my dad drives cross country to get remarried in Florida last summer with only the bare minimum of strangers there to witness it

now my sister is scheduling her wedding for july 10th....dangerously close to when I'm supposed to get vaccinated

sister said via text, "it's okay if ppl don't come!"

tl;dr I think this has less to do with if you were on the "gifted"/advanced classes growing up

and more about being more energetic when we were younger, and I know I didn't have a lot of extracurriculars so I just spent my extra time however I could

immediately sucker-punched logging on tumblr with an "I used to be gifted now I'm not" meme but they used a specific year to represent the past, 2008 OTL

hard to find new content on a dead website that isn't over 3 years old......

think the only tag on tumblr I'll always love is the "plein air" one

there's always new stuff in the "recent" part, and it's always refreshing to my eyes to see little glimpses into other people's worlds

I think I'm always gonna get emotional over art history...

...people were here before me and not only did they survive, they made beautiful art that I'm currently looking at, thinking about, something they touched exists today...

the only idol groups I can remember off the top of my head are TWICE, BTS, and MONSTA X (the latter because of We Bare Bears)

but it's been an interesting insight into Korean culture, also fun to read trivia on the members

can't say I'm exactly obsessed (I think the kids call it 'bias'?) with any individual person, but I do really enjoy TWICE's sound/aesthetic overall

letting myself fall into a KPOP/East Asian pop rabbit hole

@kara when I was making my roegadyn character I kept assuming the game was generating random names from like, every possible name users have submitted in-game, hence the keyboard smash

so I made up a name and realized 2 seconds into the game roegadyn names are just Like That 😅

watched the direct, I wanna buy so many games 💸

it could be that I already really like Clair De Lune and related with Dvalin/Stormterrors backstory so now I have extra feels

but I almost didn't notice the music it's so quiet in-game, but once I really honed in on it that's when the feels started pouring in (and still do)

for the most part Genshin Impact's OST (imho) feels fairly average for a RPG

but something about the background music in Stormterrors area is so touching to me ;w;

it's slow, subtle, and kinda sad but I like it

reminds me of Clair De Lune mixed with the great faeirie theme in LoZ:WW

the ship dynamic meme was kinda cool at first but most of them boil down to "opposites", which isn't bad but sometimes 2+ peas in a pod is just as good as 2+ opposites

bummed myself out talking about how terrible TX is on twitter

tl;dr I threw away my state pride a *long* time ago, but now I'm devastated to see so many people I know suffering because of dumpster-fire state govt BS ​
