I tend to come off as "cool" and "collected" in my prime environment, doing what I do best, but in new environments, doing new things, I end up freezing all the time (trying to process new info) and it annoys ppl into thinking I'm "lazy" and _(：c 」∠ )_

"big for watercolor" is a reference to the fact that most illustrators have a different idea of what a physically "big" art piece is than fine artists do, usually because of what medium(s) they work in
illustration majors: wow I JUST finished an 18x24 (inches) mixed media acrylic painting! it took a whole MONTH!

instead of,
"Practice makes perfect"
because I'd argue every time (as a kid btw) that
"perfection wasn't a real thing we could actually achieve?"
so friend chimes in and says his parents only said something like,
"perfect practice makes perfect skills"
Implying there's a wrong way to learn things and I'm pretty sure that's how you make a grade-A anxiety mess

@chr for art commissions, what's expected text-wise is usually basic info like the characters name, height, and gender
visually what is expected is a simpler version of what's called a "turnaround sheet" in the animation biz. It's a front, back, and side view of the character so the artist understands how the character should look in different angles
P.S. if the character has Very Specific Colors that NEED to be used, please include a color palette somewhere, it can be scribbles or splotches
on birdsite they're sharing heights now and...idk what y'all are expectin', but I'm about 5'4 (162~cm) which according to the internet is the same height as Hinata from Haikyuu!! and Tracer from Overwatch 😅

I finally watched all 24 episodes of lucky star in one sitting last week because my wi-fi was down and...
...I def ship Kagami and Konata now, like fucking 10 years AFTER I was SUPER obsessed with this show. It's not a hardcore ship, but I think the scenes with just the two of them talking are much cuter now
I find myself relating more with Kagami as I get older, especially her end of the episode rants??? 🤣 she also does her own thing while actively being a part of the group
