so, instead of carrying around 1 giant (reusable) bottle of water, which is heavy and looks intimidating

why not just refill a smaller (reusable) bottle more often?

the smaller size is less intimidating, not as heavy

I can't speak for everyone everywhere in every situation

but consider, if you work at home or in an office it's probably better for you to get up more often to refill the smaller bottle than it is sitting for a longer period of time with a huge jug ​
