Tips for new artists here:
Use hashtags! This is how your posts can be sought out from other instances too. Hashtags can also be followed, just like following accounts! Very useful for having stuff pop into your timeline that you're interested in.
Use alt-text! Prior to the twitter migration, most images had descriptions for the visually impaired, (also useful for bad internet). Let's try to keep this place accessible. Some people won't boost images without it!
