Normally I wouldn't post this sort of thing on my Mastodon account, but my friend Richard has written a brilliant children's book about a blind girl and an extremely inept wizard. He is going to make the book fully accessible with audio descriptions of the illustrations and ASL for deaf and hard of hearing kids. I’m increasingly convinced that all services and most jobs would be improved with more staff. Literally, just more people.

More people sitting around getting paid with nothing to do, until there is in fact something to do.

Pay people to staff all those windows at the post office and bank and then celebrate no lines. Pay people to bus the tables, and other people to seat the guests, and still more people to take the orders and run the food.

I’m so tired of seeing one person doing it all

TL;DR: I'm still struggling. I'm trying to work and finish college but things are hard.

With the news that my housemates are very likely moving away at the start of the next year and I really can't afford to live on my own so I've took all my spoons to just... live.

I'm still struggling >.<
