I had to wake up early today and I'm so fucking tired

one of my top conversation pet peeves is over what counts as "Authentic" food in the US

specifically people shitting on Tex Mex or US Mexican food

clearly the only people who exist in the US are pale Europeans right?

*absolutely nobody else* would go out of their way to try & make a little slice of home in the form of a restaurant/whatever

also pissed that people are willing to wear ski masks no prob, that's not an "evil" mask "against human freedoms"

but just yesterday a cashier asked me why I was wearing a mask,....as if COVID just didn't exist 💢

feeling really annoyed that I felt so low of myself for so long about not being good at winter weather stuff

but I'm starting to think most of the main 48 doesn't actually know what to do in snow or ice conditions :)

so thankful my area is now back in the just under freezing point temps (just below 32F/0C)

I'm not built for arctic anything ​

so fun to see how cold the apt can get when I leave the space heaters off/on a timer before I go to bed

pretty much the only distinctive part of the dream I had last night is that I got a vaccine or shot injected into my head

let me clarify, my head and scalp were fine, intact, but some rando jammed a stamp like device into the left half of my head for a few seconds and and that was the shot
