writing a 1k fic: takes hours and hours, lots of editing, doubt, worry
writing a 2k art guide because I wanted to give context to my list of learning art links pdf I made the other day: blasted through the copy in an hour, minimal editing, feeling fairly confident about it
OTL I would have never seen myself being better at writing guides than fiction but here I am lol
rather the only thing tumblr really needs is a "mute this post" button that works on mobile
I'm so tired of seeing some stuff make rounds because people don't know or don't care to turn on timestamps to realize it's over 5 years old
what is it about being at the library for a little over an hour that leaves me feeling like I accomplished a lot :3

The "admins can read your DMs" discourse is one that comes around every influx, but here's the rub... They can on corporate social media too!
The company that owns it, the staff, they can see everything you put on there. This isn't an issue that's somehow unique to the fediverse, and is why it's always recommended you use encrypted messaging services for private information.
