If you're a reader and you like ebooks, let me recommend checking out your local public library (if it's got a collection in your language). The DRM stuff is annoying, but if you can make it work or strip it off, many public libraries have extensive collections - all the public libraries in the province of Nova Scotia share one - and are eager to have more readers. On a dedicated reader or a phone it can be just a handful of clicks and you're reading a book for free, and the author got paid.

I'm a cis-woman going to my (cis-woman) cousin's baby shower in a few weeks, but my typical wardrobe lately is more,...goth tomboy...
I know because of the winter cold I don't need to wear anything too short, but I'm clueless about what's expected/appropriate otherwise

long story short, I'm hoping and praying that my roommate goes to the protest tomorrow so I have a few hours to myself
I would go to the protest to avoid my roommate, but my dog had dental surgery today and I need to watch her this weekend to make sure she recovers okay

If you consider yourself as someone with a "sensitive" stomach, I would stay AWAY from mixing edibles with booze
I've tried different strengths of booze, different kinds of edibles, eating an edible in the morning to drink at night (10-12 hours later)
It ALWAYS ends with me vomiting about an hour later
I can't speak for everyone, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Sore throat kept me up last night, and now i'm more congested than before..... really hoping this is what's called "cedar fever" in central texas.... really can't handle being sick right now ๐ท

Hello, I am a progressive transgender dem candidate. I have officially filed for the race for Texas House of Representatives District 83.
I am facing a conservative dem candidate in the primary and then facing an ultra-conservative incumbent in the general. He's the one that co-authored the bill in the past to try to ban transgenders from using the bathroom which aligns with gender.
I am pro-choice, pro-union, pro-equality.
