Does anyone know of any online events going on for NYE?

my ultimate NYE drink is basically a peach mimosa 🍾 🍑

got some tiny bottles of sparkling wine from Italy, figured I wanted to try something new for the new year, and the bottle brand/flavor of champagne I DO like is way too big to justify for just little 'ole me

the descriptions I read online and in the store suggested the flavor will be fruity, so I think it'll work out as a mimosa

woke up to the power being out, such a relief to find out it wasn't just my apt

a shower chair sounds really nice right about now

the inner struggle of just going to bed or doing "one last thing"

it might be time to admit defeat and just go to bed

(imho) I am so glad skype and teamspeak are behind us, but I miss MSN messenger and AIM features all the time

tl;dr talkin' to an offline friend and they haven't used Discord before, so I want to send something helpful along with the website url

the potential issue is that they're fairly shy & introverted so I think a tutorial that dives into servers right away might scare them

which is why I'm asking if y'all know of a guide(s) that focuses on more 1 to 1 features ^^;

looking for a newbie guide (video or text) to discord that focuses on DM's and settings and less on servers...
