I still feel like crap, gonna make some soup after I finally decide if I want to canned soup or instant ramen

on one hand, I'm extremely deeply thankful that I got a whole year to grieve my mother's death without really having to worry about being productive or finding another job

but at the same time, I feel *so* guilty for enjoying time off that others suffered in ​

I really don't want to be out today but my pupper needs kibble and I need some soda so 😷​

back at it again, late at night, wondering if I should just go to bed or try to do things

finally asked my TX grandma for her chili recipe ✅

now the challenge is accepting that I have to try out this recipe by myself with no (direct) guidance ​

really don't want to do laundry today but doing laundry on NYE or day sounds 10,000% too chaotic, so I guess tonight is my best chance

got some tiny bottles of sparkling wine from Italy, figured I wanted to try something new for the new year, and the bottle brand/flavor of champagne I DO like is way too big to justify for just little 'ole me

the descriptions I read online and in the store suggested the flavor will be fruity, so I think it'll work out as a mimosa
