re: aggretsuko season 4
I'll take a moment to acknowledge that maybe I'm expecting too much or don't understand the gender roles in a cishet Japanese couple as an American, and that's fair 
I still hope that in the future Retsuko & Haida break up, for real, realizing they aren't right for each other

s4 was pretty good, only because of Himuro, a great catalyst to the series
Haida/Retsuko are still a HUGE NOTP to me
really thought the part earlier in the season where they were trying to pick out a gift for their boss really proves that
they're terrible at communicating with each other
Ya both of them have different expectations of what their relationship should look like, but Haida is living in a fantasy world where he is both the savior and the victim 
today (24th) went well!
