One thing I've noticed from a lot of former Twitter users who joined the platform, is that they're not using the content warning system at all for things like transphobia in the media.

This is not Twitter. Don't treat it like it is. Show some respect for other users who don't have the spoons for such sensitive subjects, please. The content warning can be used to allow people a means of accessing the platform, without feeling like they have to face (c)PTSD from all the hate speech 😓

Hey folks, if you're just starting your time on the fediverse in light of the continued misbehavior of Elon Musk, Most Divorced Man in the World, consider reading your server's rules. They should be somewhere in or around the about page. For example, a lot of servers have rules that say sexual content should be put under a content warning, and it's *super* easy to make the wrong impression by mistake.

I'm only mentioning this 'cause I've seen a lot of new furries boosted into my home timeline, and I know how much us furries like our porn. Let's be good neighbors, yeah?

New people, fill out your bio. If you're an artist, slap that on there. If you are a suit maker, jot it down. If you just suit and go to half a con a year, put that in there.
