One of our co-workers just recently moved up to Portland and she made the msot amazing vegan blueberry muffins
She sold stuff as "Prickly Pear Bakery" here so if ya want amazing vegan food she might pop up with some stuff there at some point

@maple @noelle the sort of "legend" origin is that espresso was too much for Americans during WWII in Italy so they added it to water to make it more similar to a regular cup of coffee

An Americano is espresso and you add more water to it after to help dilute it.
So you have your shots already and your pour it over a cup full of hot water. It's a way to drink espresso but it's a bit weaker tasting and it's easier to sip over time.
For iced americano we do espresso, pour it over a cup of could water, and shake that with ice. The extra water helps the espresso flavor hold up better over ice.

I had someone do something similar at Starbucks with a mobile order
His order was "iced Americano, no water, add extra while milk". He ordered an iced latte but it's cheaper to order it in a roundabout way like that. I don't blame him though, that's definitely a problem with the Sbux mobile app
