The endless debate of whether or not I want to lay down right now. I really need to sleep but I'm afraid if I try to nod off now it'll just end up being a nap.

@maple former star trek tng actor who may or may not have gotten upset at birdsite and moved to mastadon for reasons i don’t know and for the most part do not really care

@nausicaea You’re more than welcome to follow if you like but I tend to post very infrequently and when I do I’m usually being a goofball.

@nausicaea I’m far from the best but I try to help.

Take care of yourself and good luck in Norway.

@nausicaea Loneliness is a hell of a thing. I know that all too well. It's only a temporary solution until you can make some local connections but maybe if you're okay with it find a stuffed friend or two and hug them when you feeling alone. It's not a cure but sometimes it helps.

@nausicaea I can only imagine what moving to a new country is like, especially if you don't know anyone there but I don't know if that's your case. At the very least partake in whatever activities make you feel happy the most to keep your emotional strength up in the meantime.

We've only just met but I wish for the best for you.

@nausicaea Moving in and of itself is hard. Run a hot bath if you can and soak the moving pains away.

Feeling sleepy but I can't go to sleep yet.

Drat.

@Tobi Stardew IS too much of a time sink but it's also too good of a chillout game so I can't bring myself to uninstall it.

I definitely do temper myself on how much I play it compared to other titles though.

@Tobi Oof, I know that pain all too well. I've managed to cut my games into a list of stuff I want to prioritize but I've got waaaaaaaaay too many timesinks in there still.

(Technically I'm still on my first playthrough with Stardew Valley but since you can never really "complete" that...)

@Tobi Couldn't say 100% sure. Those screenshots are about as deep as I've cracked this CT playthrough because as much as I love that game I have other stuff I've never completed before I should finish first before I play CT again.

Accursed growing Steam list...

@Tobi Yeah, Squeenix dropped it a few months ago and everyone went off the rails because they cheapened out on it. But surprisingly they actually went back and fixed it up so it's not quite as bad as before.

Battle UI is a little heckin' weird for my tastes but for $15 US I'm not complaining so far. (I haven't played it for very long to develop complaints yet, heh.)

@Tobi I'm just mostly thankful it didn't get super goofed like the SNES FF remakes.

Though apparently it's all right to go back and fix Chrono Trigger...

@Tobi The only minor complaint I have is I wish they would have shrunk down the battle UI from tablet sized but it's not the worst thing ever.
