Generally this is just a really good release. Clearly so much love for the original and Jaleco in general went into this. Not many games this obscure get this kind of treatment. God bless City Connection
The Switch version seems to be the one to get, it includes the extra characters for Arcade Mode+ that are DLC in the PS4 and Steam version. Which are all very good. Homura is a baseball player who hits the bullets back at enemies. Tatsujin literally plays like Truxton. You know Clarice
I didn't actually mention which version I'm playing did I. it's Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special for Switch. There's so much good stuff in this. Like the characters commenting on the games they're from
Arrange mode of Classic mode (which I think is basically the Saturn version) has a load of cutscenes which so far are mostly just the characters doing bits with each other. And they're subtitled! Apparently this was hard to do!

Well I finished the game. it was fun! except the shmup levels! 100%d it too, easy to do once you have all the upgrades. Pretty short overall but I'm led to believe that's what you all want
(And if you want a short game with worse graphics just wait for the Amico version)
@misty yeah it was mentioned elsewhere that it might have been done at tommy's insistence since he didn't want pixel games on the amico
I just found out there was kind of a bizarre development with this game, it was being updated/remade as Finnigan Fox for the Amico? And they got rid of the pixel art? Obviously it hasn't come out. @vikxin yeah I'm at the last boss now and I liked it! There are a couple of shmup levels which are kinda stinkers but otherwise it's a pretty solid fox based action platformer
