very urgent mutual aid request post 
hi hello! im sorry to have to do this but my job screwed up my entire general vague monthly budgeting stuff due to payday coming way earlier than usual in december. i have some things coming up this week that i absolutely have no way to pay and boy howdy are they needed!!
- Council Tax payment (£90.81)
whilst discounted and thankfully in installments, this one snuck up on me out of nowhere. its the *most urgent* one as this thing will be attempted to automatically go out on the 15th!!
- Electricity meter topup (uhh like £30?)
winter means its been cold as hell in my flat which means ive had the heater on a bunch and thats caused my pay-as-you-go meter to take a pretty big hit. i do have some vague plan to look into being not on a payg plan for this for money saving reasons but until then, i really would appreciate continuing to have access to this, as youd imagine
- Food (£40)
vague estimate, but i suspect that ill need to go food shopping again before i get paid and i also need money to sort out stuff to eat while im at work.
so in total, we're talking £161 rounded up? which is a lot holy heck but i genuinely cannot pay for any of this. I have like £10 in my bank account right now, and I dont get paid until late next week. to put it bluntly, I'm screwed without doing this. Please help if you can 💜 thank you

picked up Wonder Boy Returns Remix for £1.79 in a sale. this one has a weird history & kinda got lost amongst the more prominent Wonder Boy revival games but its a serviceable remake of the original game in this form & has probably the cutest version of wonder boy

@mavica_again good luck!! i see this kind of thing a lot with like, famiclones and cheap unbranded emu consoles. if one of them gets popular it gets cloned 10x over & the clones are usually sold with the exact same pictures as the original so you really have to dig if you want to find some specific one. i was trying to find a particular "game stick lite" model once and suffice to say i now have a lot of them and none of them are it

Unfortunately the game doesn't actually show the clothes you put on the characters which is .. understandable considering it came from the DS and there are 100s of outfits but also kind of a shame

After finishing the game you can replay any day while retaining your items and stats so I dressed him up & went back to the reaper only to find he COULDN'T even open the damn route & he literally just wanted to see Joshua wearing that lmao

so at one point there's this reaper who says he'll "possibly maybe" unblock the route to 104 if you come back with Joshua dressed in Natural Puppy clothes which is this cute clothing brand in the game. On my initial playthrough I couldn't do it and I finished the day anyway so figured there was some secret bonus thing back there
