I like that Plastic (character in Mirror's Edge Catalyst) sounds like Peridot from Steven Universe
I'm just remembering how mirror's edge catalyst revealed a story-crucial plot twist.... not in a cut scene, but instead in a radio message that's sent to you while you're out in the open world - which means you could be focusing on a tricky jump, or in combat or anything
and plus: before this, all the radio messages have basically been fluff that lead up to an objective marker, so you could just be ignoring it
