re: doctor who, social media, negative (no spoilers, but discussion of the concept of spoilers)

@Harena I don't mind getting spoiled on things that are a few years old, but this episode was barely 3 hours ago, and spoilery discussion still filtered through the barriers I set up yesterday to avoid this scenario...

re: doctor who, social media, negative (no spoilers, but discussion of the concept of spoilers)

In the past I've said "I don't really care about spoilers". But that was from a perspective where I only occasionally saw spoilers, and mostly for things I wasn't sure I was going to watch.

But getting spoiled for *absolutely everything* is emotionally draining.

doctor who, social media, negative (no spoilers, but discussion of the concept of spoilers)

despite doing *absolutely everything I could* to avoid spoilers, I once again saw the major reveal of today's episode online before I had the chance to watch the episode itself.

So now I'm up to 11 episodes in a row that were spoiled for me, long before I could have watched them. I'm so sick of this.

re: 🍟very long fry opinion poll (food, obviously)

@gmsh I had assumed that this is a thing elsewhere too, but maybe not - often places here will have "loaded fries" on the menu, which is fries + a whole bunch of other junk, like chili and sauce and meat and whatever

@witchfynder_finder it's so strange to me that singing the national anthem used to be a regular (almost monthly) occurance for me, but now at this point I've not sung it for a decade.

(and will probably never sing it again, because it's racist and bad and also a national anthem)

I felt like taking a break from working on commissions to draw my fursona wearing The Witchiest Sock Choice.

re: dishonored, pandemics

although given the "there's a horrible plague" theming of this game, I don't know that I can recommend it to anyone else right now.
