I actually use krita for image manipulation now, because even though it's supposed to be just for art, it's easier to use

@posit@chitter.xyz I think the Open Source community has a huge issue with user interfaces:
* they're not designed by Human Interaction people
* everyone is reluctant to change them

even after all these years, GIMP still has that awful multi-window interface by default

@posit@chitter.xyz well you can keep all the audio processing and filtering and converting code, right?

That stuff is hard
