@compufox Jak 2 has so many amazing elements! I just think it would have been amazing-er if it was less cruel!

Jak 2 has separate issues that combine together to make it not as good:
- it's linear mission based, which means (unlike Jak 1) if you're stuck on a challenge you can't go do something else and come back
- it's cruel - there are no checkpoints in missions
- it's demanding - many missions are timed and only give u the exact amount of time u need to finish the mission

I still liked it a lot, and the deeper story is great, but it was hard to motivate myself to play

Jak 1 is a really fun collectathon platformer, I'm already learning the speedrun for it
Jak 2 and 3 are both action games though... I think Jak 2 doesn't stick the landing, but Jak 3 is amazinggg

i recently played the Jak and Daxter trilogy! it's really good, overall!
