@what *invents an AI*

oh shit!

*pulls out a revolver and shoots the hard drive*

@witchfynder_finder oh!

...not really, that's the part I suck at with D&D (and the reason why I run more story focused rpgs...)

sorry~

@witchfynder_finder the most important thing is to write it in such a way that the players directly influence and change major parts of the story...

so instead of being like "and then the players save the city from the evil dragon" write "do the players succeed at saving the city? If they do, at what cost? If they don't, how does the story continue?"

be kind to yourself

you've been through a lot ❤️

if magic was a science, every aspect of it would be completely misnamed. Water magic would actually have more to do with colors or something, but it just so happens there's a lot of it naturally in rivers so it got called water magic. Fire magic wouldn't be truly magic at all but particular magically-triggered applications of well-understood chemistry. Life magic would actually show up in all kinds of non-living things.

Good morning everyone!

If you're reading this, I love you

@TipsyTentacle oh neat!

I know a lot of people like arch, and I think it's pretty cool too, but it moved too fast and things broke too much for me

oh carp, my bus is in 10 minutes, I really need to get ready...

dapiica (conlang)

@popefucker@cybre.space that's what I've been doing, but dapiica doesn't have any consonant clusters, and also doesn't have any glides/liquids/approximants, and only has 4 vowel sounds*.

so a word like Français /fʁɑ̃.sɛ/ only has ONE sound that is native to dapiica (/s/)

@grime_witch I'm just imagining a goat with a turtle shell, hacking into a computer network with her brain

dapiica (conlang)

To ask "do you speak English?":

iŋgiʃcaʃt'a
iŋgiʃ- ca -ʃ -t'a
english- speak -2SG -QUESTION

It's interesting figuring out what various languages would be called in dapiica, because it's quite phonologically different from a lot of common Earth Languages

SCP

@StarshipAmelia yeah, I've been finding that the higher the number, the less ridiculous they are with the censorship bits

also, I can't stand the "main" scp (the one that's most popular, it can't move if you're looking at it) because the picture scares the heck out of me...

SCP

I simultaneously love and hate scp stuff? I love the whole style of story telling, but I hate that I get spooked so easily

and I also don't like when they do the censorship stuff on descriptions and dates, because it takes me out of the narrative...

LB: I play Tetris The Grand Master 3 Terror-Instinct, so I guess I have to choose Chaotic Neutral
