welp.

I accidentally reformatted the boot partition while installing this OS

which means even though I have a fully functioning windows installation, the files required to boot it no longer exist

so I can never access windows....

Although they are categorized by Unicode as “Symbols”, these characters are actually digits, used for “ten” and “eleven” in the duodecimal (base-12) system.

You will note that ↊ looks kind of like a U+A786 Ꞇ LATIN CAPITAL LETTER INSULAR T (for “Ten”) and ↋ looks kind of like a U+0190 Ɛ LATIN CAPITAL LETTER OPEN E (for “Eleven”)!
