thinking about slime rancher... I really wanted to get into and enjoy that game, but for some reason it just never stuck

ttrpgs, unedited brain ramblings

oh so - I backed the Ironsworn: Starforged TTRPG a while back, and I've got the physical edition.

It's really beautiful and cool, and I look forward to playing it sometime.

BUT!!! They're working on a more nautical version of the rules for an expansion, and what I really would love love love to do is like, a space-faring sailing ships setting, that would be a lot of fun.

I need more dragon-focused books. Not books that probably contain a dragon, or a dragon gets maybe 10 pages at most, or just has the word "dragon" in its title. Books with dragons as the main protagonists/antagonists/partners/sidekicks/etc. Dragons have to be THE main focus, or at least a significant part of the focus (like with the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, which is a damn good set of books that puts fun unexpected twists to your stereotypical fairy tales!)

SCUBA is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. What you may not know is that Tuba is also an acronym for...

Terrible Underwater Breathing Apparatus

This reminds me of how we thought bats must have amazing sonar capabilities to fly in crowded caves and not crash into each other. Then someone filmed some with high speed infrared cameras, and found out they just constantly smash into each other

I remember like a decade ago when I was thinking of making a video game (and hadn't quite understood how much time they take), I wanted to make a game that was a fantasy open world game focused on sidequests where you play a dragon. Like Skyrim, but you are a dragon instead of a dragonslayer
