The knight looked at the purring pile, and turned to the dragon.
"You hoard cats?"
"Aren't they sweet?"
"You can't sleep on a hoard of cats!"
"Of course not. They usually sleep on me."
"You are their hoard?"
"Why so concerned with labels?"
"I don't want to fight you."
"So don't."

Witcher 2 thoughts (cw: edgy, grimey)

my experience with the Witcher 2 is basically: it's a game I enjoy, but not one I can recommend to anyone

Witcher 2 thoughts (cw: edgy, grimey)

I'm enjoying it, but I feel like it'd be so much better if it wasn't so edgy and grimy

The grime makes it kinda feel like it's trying too hard, but also often just doesn't make sense to me?

After the prologue you go to the town of Flotsam, which is a relatively small town, but it feels like half the women are sex workers from the brothel.

The amount of crude jokes from the guards is also absurdly high, and it gets really grating after a while.

I want to play a video game, but I have no idea what I want to play

Doctor Who | Season 8

it feels weird that I'm simultaneously 20.27% of the way through and 35.05% of the way through the series

Doctor Who | Season 8

And sadly, The Colony in Space breaks Season 8's streak of recommended stories.

It's meandering and not that interesting, and would have been much better if they had removed the plotline about the Master and cut it down to 4 episodes (instead of 6)

Doctor Who | Season 8

I can't tell whether the Master being in this story makes it better or worse

Doctor Who | Season 8

.... it starts getting super weird in episode 4

Doctor Who | Season 8

I'm partway through episode 2 of The Colony in Space, and I'm worried this is going to end up being really racist...
