After using MacOS for work for several years, it's shocking to me how many bugs there are in the system.
Especially around drag and drop - which feels like such an essential part of a computer to get right!!!
It's no wonder that most Mac users I've talked to also have low confidence in their computer skills!!!

And like... Technically you can skip the big quests in all those locations, but it feels weird to me... Like, they're pretty major story beats imo, and they help you level up at an appropriate rate
Maybe I should skip them, though.....

I think this time I'm going to explore off the road a bit more, that will make a big difference

re: fallout new vegas

I think this is partly because the game actually starts out super linear? Like, technically you can go three different ways from good springs, but going one way leads to poison bugs of doom and another way goes to deathclaws of devastation...
So you're inevitably funneled through primm, then to the outpost, then to nipton, then to novac.

fallout new vegas

Whenever I replay fnv, I always find myself trending towards the same decisions

One thing skyrim does really well: the continual quest accumulation.
Every city you visit, you'll get like 5 new quests, which will take you to other parts of the map, where you will find 5 more quests, which lead you to more quests, etc etc.

The end result: it never really feels like you're DONE with an area. A lot of other open world games seem to encourage you to stay in one place and suck it dry of every activity before moving on
