I'm conflicted between making my name "Avery Lychee" or "Avery <something normal>"...

I had an ok day at uni:

* missed my first lecture
* had some nice brunch
* 2nd lecture was capitalist propaganda: tediously evil edition
* had a laksa that wasn't anywhere near spicy enough
* oh god I spent so much money on food
* fun tutorial at the end

I didn't go to bed, I instead finished modding morrowind... it only took 2 hours...

hey it's late o'clock and I need to wake up in 7 hours, so I'm heading to the snooze-or-lose zone

I really wanna play morrowind with mods, but it's gonna take 45 minutes to download and I have to go to bed in 45 minutes ::(

I hate that C is still the main programming language people learn, because it's fucking old and nobody wants to move on from it because "it's fast and it's too hard to learn anything else", even though the vast majority of languages are EASIER TO USE AND LEARN THAN FUCKING C

when my family had an XP computer, I installed a hack onto it that allowed me to set a universal password, so I could access anyone's account

it's interesting that if you look at someone's profile on mastodon, they look way less active than they would on bird site, but it's because they're actually interacting with each other!

since being on here, birdsite feels really impersonal...
