Alright, I made a solution that actually works!

The challenge was to make a stack with a findMin function that could give you the smallest value in the stack in constant time.

This doesn't do that, but it does average better than just looking through the stack (although the tree isn't balanced, maybe I should do that...)

this is the mastodon content you have come to crave and love

awoo

In the end I think Twitter's allowed post length is not the problem; the problem is that our culture's media and political class have chosen as their primary forum a medium that's best suited to jokes.

But my only money is money that my parents are loaning me, and I feel bad about not being able to save enough while I was employed...

internalised transmisogyny

I'm always kinda scared to talk about trains, because I feel like it's a super masculine thing, and that if I express any interest in trains, it's because I'm actually a guy and I've been faking my femininity for the past decade

I'm not super into trains themselves, but I am super into railways and railway maps...

food, a stupid joke involving a fetish

ok I'm back from sandwich land, and I have brought with me a diplomat - I told them I'd introduce them to our government, but I'm actually just gonna vore them

name/title change nonsense

I wonder if I can get my title changed to Mx when I get my name changed?

I'm wearing all black now and feel better

although this shirt is really faded and is more of a dusty grey at this point ::(

Increased character limit is Mastodon's least important feature, albeit a nice perk

Mastodon's primary strength are the decentralization (resilience to failures, government censorship, distributed nature of the moderation and ability to own your own megaphone) and the power dynamic between the product and the users. It is free and open source, and does not seek to exploit the user through ads or surveillance; it is, rather, made by the users for the users.
