So there's very little likelyhood this'll actually get seen by any of the current influx of people coming in off of Twitter, but I wonder what their initial reactions are to any of our other deliberate design differences are? Like, the only-hashtags searching, the no quoting, etc.?

I have just discovered that someone I know is /completely/ clueless about the concepts and terminology of the trans community and I was wanting to ask if anyone could point me to some resources to send him? He wants to learn and understand, I think, but, well, just a minute ago he didn't realize that saying """by trans men i mean guys who are women""" was insensitive, so that should give you an idea of his current knowledge.
