discord has ruined the definition of the word "server" for potentially an entire generation of people

Anyone who's spent time in smaller online forums has met a mod like Musk. You can tell it's gonna be a disaster from the moment they take over. Using their mod powers to settle personal scores, making up new rules to justify them, apologizing and reversing course, taking polls, offering to step down and then not doing it...

We’re in the lab, waiting for this Street Fighter 6 beta to start back up

Sometimes you just need a little Daddy Mulk in your life. Now, I dare say it, is one of those times. For you. Not me. I just got done listening to it twice. #videogames

@Atatra the terminals being side by side make for the perfect licking treat

Anonymous Coward asked: favorite size cell battery? i'm partial to cr2032 myself because of sega consoles
---
honestly i'm a big fan when cheap tat has a charge circuit and 16850 li-ion cell holders like they're an oversized jumbo AA

i think the thing with social media is that when you're new anywhere people will (generally, unless they're assholes) give you a modicum of attention for being new stimulus to their feeds, and unless you manage to court a following after a while you will no longer have that attention. that's what drove me to mastodon in 2017 and that's what drove me back to twitter in 2021, and each time i noticed i got more attention on my work no matter how hard i posted about it.

Anonymous Coward asked: what's one of your favorite tunes as of late?
---
i've been getting on a Justice kick lately especially Newlands for the hard-hitting beats, but Gaspard Augé's solo stuff is good too, that's what's mostly been on rotation lately unless i'm listening to something from Soma FM because i can't be bothered to curate my own listening

Anonymous Coward asked: your music is good. do you have plans to put out another album or release more singles in 2023?
---
thank you! no plans, no. i want to have a better output and it turns my alloys into dust to know that i released HIGHWAY a whole two years ago, but i can only really compose when inspiration strikes. though hopefully if i get enough free time and my mental health gets better i might start composing again.
