every time i have a bad rsd attack i just post a "controversial" take about #linux on mastodon like "it's bad and windows is better" because then my notifications invariably get flooded

i used to think that my laptop just was bad at doing most things. turns out all the problems i had with my laptop disappeared when i went back to windows

linux is so bad. i don't believe anyone actually uses it they just want you to think they do

it's the Year of Our Lady 2023 and i still need to plug in a mouse because linux is inherently incompatible with any laptop trackpad until you manually configure it meaning any liveusb like gparted needs a mouse to work because they come with trackpad unconfigured even if it's a so-praised-for-linux-support thinkpad. year of the linux desktop everybody, i'm sure wayland will fix it this time

@jk CF to IDE is passive and relies on the CF being compatible with the IDE mode the computer expects. SD to IDE is active and emulates basically a failsafe IDE mode. i've had luck with both on my amiga 600 which i'd say is about as esoteric as it gets in my collection

i don't know why i still try to log into #secondlife when i'm lonely the only places that still have any people in them are night clubs and none of them are active anymore it's either just idlers or people who won't talk to people they know and all it does is be even more isolating and alienating

now it booted but won't recognize my keyboard hahahahah

interesting i tried to run 2 instances of #secondlife at once and my computer crashed and now it refuses to post i just keep winning

the cool thing about being an attention whore is you give people a reason to call you an abuser and ostracize you so you can feel guilt free when you go to finally kill yourself
