@NanoRaptor weird little vestigial internal organ most people haven't even learned about in biology class

i bought my first one locally dropshipped, the next two from aliexpress with the same model number, the latest one that's all different without a model number but once arriving turning out it's branded completely different. the original model number does not show up anywhere else anymore besides alibaba. i've found a listing there that allows for a sample MOQ of 1 and hoping once it arrives that i'll finally have my good headphones back

the latest i bought sounds better than the other two but not as good as the first one. so i thought i could just swap some of the parts, but alas, i open it up and the stands for the board and ear cup mounts are completely different despite being the same from the outside

a few years ago i found one pair of headphones that sounded extremely good for the toy price and look (it's a light up cat ear set meant for kids i initially bought as a joke) and while this particular model was plentiful at the time now that my first set broke (again, it lasted years! and i dropped it a bunch!) i cannot find exact replacements. i've bought 3 more now that look identical from the outside, share some plastic parts, but are of terrible quality. so disappointing
