if your fediverse software converts png to webp you're part of the problem
webp federation is 100% broken on computer fairies (i do not remember if intentionally or not) and honestly i think that's a good thing

@IvanDSM none of them actually! but at least on wii and switch the drift boosting did not feel miserable. i don't remember how it was on the 64
@IvanDSM the SNES one is really unrefined but damn the drift is real bad on the DS one. SNES is better by not having drift boosting in the first place, imo
like i genuinely think even the snes granddaddy one is better. ds one fucking sucks
i cannot personally ever relate on any level at all to someone who considers mario kart ds a baseline good entry in the series

The head of Anbernic R&D has a long standing beef with the guy behind ZPG/GKD & it is admittedly kind of funny sometimes. He said Anbernic would never do a 1:1 aspect ratio handheld because it was stupid but then the Unicorn was announced and suddenly they can't make one fast enough
