discord might've started a little better than skype was when it launched but despite using it every day (nobody i know is left on skype anymore) it's absolutely worse than my experience with skype in the 2010s and i miss it.

chat programs have been in decline ever since we moved away from the version of skype that detected whether you were typing or just mashing your keyboard and if you were mashing it would show an icon of a cat instead of the regular typing icon

the original flashboy cyclone software just, hangs now. it doesn't work at all. but a patched flashgbx works fine, so the dumper still works

should i experiment with trying to upgrade my flashboy cyclone (chinese gbxcart rw clone)? it currently mimics a R18 gbxcart, which requires hacking at flashgbx to work with firmwares older than 19
