i seem to recall that particular avatar maker (or was it a style that had more than one maker?) everywhere in the early 2000s web, but now i can't find a single example

habbo avatars closely resemble it but this was just a front-facing static image you could dress up

so i'm looking for a very specific thing, it was sort of a dollmaker but in blocky/straight-lines pixel style, except if i try to look for "pixel doll" all i get are the barbie ones & "pixel avatar" only brings modern results unless i add "2000s" which just brings barbies again

sad that pablodraw doesn't have a 40 column mode with chunky letters :sob: are there any other good ansi art editors out there?

first goal there is to redesign my website from scratch. you can browse it fine right now but i'm using image-borders that just show up black, so i want to come up with a completely new design that doesn't use it even if i do come back to os 9 window trimmings
