i was trying to be clever with the partitions to leave space for the compaq bios stuff once i had the floppy drive working, but it didn't work out well

partition still is in there somewhere but testdisk hangs so i can't use that to recover it

accidentally formatted my ssd last night.. thankfully all i lost (i think) are copies of photoshop and indesign, and steam games. no actual files

the battery still holds some charge! the cats approve.
