anyway might just give a handspring visor wifi, as a bit, this year
brainstorming this so much i just realized i can just use the TTL UART on the cradle connector to wire it straight up to an ESP8266 without having to figure out from scratch how to work the whole song and dance of talking to a springboard module
daydreaming about building modern tech into springboard cartridges and i don't even have the pda yet

2022 just might be the year when i get really into palmos development
(i'm hoping that the camera module can temporarily save the picture to the internal memory so it survives swapping modules)
would be really cool if i could take a picture with the camera module, switch out with the wifi module, connect to my phone's hotspot, and upload a picture anywhere...
wondering how difficult it would be to build a springboard cartridge that uses an ESP8266 and presents itself as a modem, to give it wifi connectivity
