i hate feeling like nobody bats for me ever.

13 of my mutuals follow this particular person and i would be lying if it didn't feel like betrayal. like i've reiterated before i'm not trying to play purity politics but it would be nice once in a while if people told me whether they actually think i'm right or just tolerate me

i wish i could be unbothered about this and people will get on your case for letting it get to you but that's just blaming the victim. social media is designed exactly to elicit this sort of environment and to say otherwise is to be in intense denial and masking

i miss the time when the only "internet" "celebrities" were hackers who got a news segment about them, emulator authors with a crude sense of humor, and porn stars/artists

god i'm just pissed at people who think they're so entitled because their number is big enough they know people will just go bat for them

i was trying to do something nice and i got fucking chewed out about it and when i complained i just got mocked online like yeah ok go ahead and mess with stuff you don't know about and then wonder why it doesn't work and then laugh at old white youtubers when they do the same.

excited for the day where i finally curate a space and construct methods for communicating with my friends only through applications that'll run on a windows 98 computer so i can ditch modern internet for good

not any logic flashing but a clearly-something-wrong-with-the-power pulsating, but since the brick happily powers the pc alone, i'm betting there's something bad with the battery charging circuitry in the laptop...

what i did find out however, is that while this charger happily keeps the laptop on at high performance (discrete GPU on, high brightness.. haven't run loads yet though, if i plug both AC and battery in with the laptop off, the LED in the AC charger starts flashing...

well this was a productive waste of time: i managed to replace the 2kOhm charger identification resistor in the plug with a 1kOhm one (make it identify as a 135w instead of 170w) because i thought that would help, but it didn't
