Git has a command called rerere, which stands for “reuse recorded resolution”, and is used for reapply merge conflict resolutions you’ve applied before.

Git also has a gc command for garbage collection, which in turn has a configuration variable gc.rerereresolved, which is four whole “re”s in a row and controls how long records of resolved resolutions are retained for repeated reuse (if required).

There's nothing quite like a news piece on "the Millennials" or "Gen Z" written as an editorial open letter that can't be read anyway because it's behind a paywall on the site of a publication with an average readership age of 47
