Tonight I got interlaced frames fully working in my NTSC/CRT emulation, as well as added timings for the SNES' 512-pixel-wide display mode, which wasn't used for many games (most notably, Secret of Mana and its sequel's menus).
These higher resolution modes weren't used very often, in part because the color resolution on NTSC was low enough that there's TONS of fringing on narrow things like text (the stuff you usually are using a higher resolution for)

So pretty much all of Wednesday was spent colorizing 26 different half-page 'handouts'.
I didn't even think about which ones I'm likely to use, I just OCD'd into finishing the lot. Granted, around 30 mins per image on average... 13 hours... but I did them :)
Then it kinda sunk in, wondering how much time I might have 'wasted' (this is relative, since I'm disabled so stay at home a lot).

She's prescribed some Rheumocam, so it's most likely an inflammation thing.
Doesn't surprise me as we think she might be a little arthritic anyway.

Poll for folks w/Long Covid
Some studies have shown close to half of Long Covid/Post-covid cases meet ME/CFS criteria. Here's one study (there are others):

But many docs don't get any training on how to diagnose ME/CFS. So I wonder if patients are getting diagnosed?

This has mostly been reported as "trans women banned from women's chess" but it's much more sinister. (as if it weren't already.)
ALL trans people are targeted by this ruling. Trans men will be stripped of all chess titles won, which can only be returned to them by “changing the gender back to a woman” (from the ICF’s ruling). ALL transgender chess players will be marked as trans in their files.
If you play or know anyone who does take a stand on this. It's ugly.
Got woken up with cat getting worse from UTI (or similar) that she's already been treated twice for in the last month.
Another urgent visit to the PDSA.
Starting to face the fact that she might have to be released from her pain today.

So, I played the free #overwatch2 PVE event (since I'm not paying them for anything ever again), and it's the weakest game design you can get;
Go to point.
Defend point while also collecting batteries around the map or from key enemies.
Repeat 3 times.
Escort point to new point.
Defend point.
Done.
And most of the enemies are reskins of previous PVE enemies, or are copies from Halo 4 (of all places... wall-climbing dog-like cyber-things) or Doom Eternal (snake beasties that move around quick).
