imagine The Big One happens in SF, and every waymo on the street instantly becomes a giant roadblock for emergency workers trying to put out fires and rescue and save the lives of seriously injured people all over the city. people will die - because these products aren't "safer than humans"; they can't do basic things even bottom-quartile human drivers can.
waymo corporate is betting they can PR their way past all that. our duty as citizens and humans is to make sure they can't.
Friends, I have £1,000 that I want to donate to a UK trans support charity.
I've donated in the past, but I was hoping someone (with experience) could recommend a charity that they think would benefit from the donation (and helped you in some way).
It's a single donation to make a greater impact.
If you have any questions, please do ask me too (or DMs/email)
Calling all office nerds 😎 the Office Mimics are now available (for free) in my Kofi! These are a set of .ico files to customize your folder/program icons with!

These were super fun to make, hope you have fun customizing your desktop using these!
I've given up so I'm asking for help to at least end this year on a little bit of hope and positivity.

Just to clarify: nothing against anyone who /enjoys/ difficult games, I just dislike the attitude that tends to come with it
"This game is too hard, the enemies are unreasonably difficult and the devs gave me no room for error"
"well that sounds like a skill issue"
Perhaps, but the root of the problem is that /the game is too fucking difficult to be considered reasonable and genuinely fun/
So very exhausted from having to get up early every day this week so that the Housing Authority can remodel the kitchen, and their contractors are not great.
Been without hot water/central heating as the electrician never bothered to wire up the gas isolator thing. Apparently they should never have left us without hot water/heating.
So now I get to be up early on Saturday so they can send round the electrician to fix it out-of-hours.
I'm so incredibly shattered... mentally and physically.
