after getting burnt out with the cooking and cleaning i had to do, i spent the rest of the evening working on this painting for art fight aaaaaaand HECK i've spent like seven times as long on this wip as i normally spend on paintings *yet it still isn't done*

searching for documentation online only returns nonsense in coding languages i'm unfamiliar with ;-; let me use python in peace...

trying out the capella masto client and it feels p good so far (though i wish it supported instance-specific toot lengths and columns were easier to add/remove and remained after closing the program)

i have a tab open that's just a duck duck go image search for day geckoes, so whenever i need a quick pick-me-up, i just flip over to that tab and look at some chubby bleps. 10/10 do recommend

day 5324702753453098. i am still high-strung from stress and my body is still in a constant state of pain and exhaustion, but at least my bed is super comfy and i have plenty of cold water to drink. surprisingly enough, life manages to be pretty okay despite the terrible hand i've been dealt 🤷‍♂️

how do i tell someone to stop making an unfunny joke that is a stinging reminder of how i feel excluded from that group due to my lack of seniority and that making that joke reinforces how i feel like i am only being kept around that group for my skills
